With the lease, PerkinElmer will relocate 300 employees from its current Long Beach location to the new facility, located at 11240 Warland Dr., Cypress. Officials at PerkinElmer are expecting to occupy the new building some time during the fourth quarter.
The Klabin Company's Torrance office is the exclusive agent for the owner, Warland Investments Co., and Colliers Seeley's Torrance office represented PerkinElmer in the transaction.
Recently, The Klabin Co. leased a new 59,280-sf R&D building in the center to Berg Electronics Group Inc., which has 250 employees.
The overall Cypress business park is a master-planned development, which includes such tenants as Mitsubishi Motors USA, Viad Corp., Panasonic, Yamaha, Johnson Controls, Sony, Diebold, Electronic Data Systems and PacificCare Health Systems.
