XeTel, an electronics manufacturing service provider, has signed for 50,000 sf and the remaining 21,000 are being taken by WideOpenWest, a newly formed high-capacity broadband fiber-optic network provider. XeTel was represented by the Staubach Co. and WideOpenWest by Kennedy-Wilson.
The remaining four leases have been signed for the 104,880-sf Garland Business Center II.Fuses-Unlimited and Neiman Marcus are taking 11,000 sf each while Alliance Datacom is leasing 13,000 sf for a new sales facility and warehouse. Skinceuticals represents the largest tenant at 38,640 sf. Bradford Realty Services negotiated the pact for Fuses-Unlimited, Cushman & Wakefield for Neiman Marcus, Swearingen Realty Group for Alliance Datacom and Cawley International for Skinceuticals.
The Dallas industrial sector is making a strong showing these days in the region, a fact supported by the flurry of activity for Duke-Weeks' properties and ongoing developments by a number of companies that have ticketed the sector for more space.
Duke-Weeks owns, manages or is developing more than 2.6 million sf of office and industrial properties in the Dallas region. The firm has nearly 4,000 acres of undeveloped land in its portfolio, 145 of which are located in north Texas.
