Save-On Drugs to Open Stores in Puget Sound

EVERETT, WA-Sav-on Drugs, a drugstore chained owned by Albertson's Inc., is developing its first store in the state here, en route to dozens throughout the state. Plans are to begin construction of a Bothell location by the end of the year.

Construction is already underway on the first store in Everett. Plans are to begin construction on a Bothell site by the end of the year, pending approval by Snohomish County. Other eastside locations are also being scouted. The drugstore locations will each average about 16,700 sf in size and cost about $4 million to construct.
