Navy Awards $18-Mil Contract to San Diego Firm

SAN DIEGO--Ninteman Construction gets $18- million contract to rebuild barracks.

Ninteman Construction got the contract through its parent, Sundt Construction of Tucson, AZ, for the two-year, $18-million contract awarded by Naval Facilities Engineering Command. The contract calls for a renovation and upgrade.

The nine-story building will be renovated to house 316 Naval personnel and include air- conditioning and seismic upgrades, along with some amenities.
