The property, situated at 2401 E. 16th St., has been bought by Grace Manufacturing, a Russellville precision machine parts firm looking to expand operations. The firm supplies critical parts for the computer peripheral market.
Amarillo Gear, founded in 1917, manufactures right-angle gear drives and transmission boxes for a wide range of buyers, including off-highway and mining equipment. It is a member of the Marmon Group of companies, an international association of more than 60 independent manufacturing and service businesses with annual sales in excess of $6 billion.
