In her new role, she will be responsible for the operation of the firm's entire portfolio, consisting of 251 income-producing properties in 14 states. In addition to the day-to-day management of the shopping center and industrial portfolios, she also will oversee landscaping, security and tenant relationships. The real estate company has a total of 3,300 tenants.
Weingarten is a Houston-based REIT that owns 196 shopping centers, 53 industrial properties, one apartment complex and one office building, totaling more than 28 million sf.
