The Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center will include a performing arts theater, gym, aquatic center and other facilities. It will serve East San Diego, La Mesa and Lemon Grove.
Joan Kroc pledged $80 million for the construction of the center, designed by local architectural firm Austin Veum Robbins Parshalle. Roel Construction Co. is the general contractor.
