The company is predicting a doubling of staff in 2001, following the same type of growth in the first nine months of this year. The firm is a manufacturer of high-performance, high-bandwidth Microsoft Windows NT and Linux based solutions for the 3D, animation, film and HD broadcast markets.
In third-quarter reporting, Boxx has experienced more than a 500% jump in sales, adding such high-profile clients as Manex, MTV Networks, Square Giant Killer Robots, Giant Studios, Matchframe, Razorfish and RPI. The company is in the midst of seeking a second round of venture capital to expand its sales and marketing teams as well as forge ahead on product development tailored to the Hollywood entertainment industry and digital video markets.
