Simek Brothers Buy 163-unit Apartment Complex

ST. PAUL, MN-The brothers have changed the name of the property, Townview Apartments, to Phalen Village Apartments. They plan to renovate and reposition the complex, for which they paid $5 million.

The brothersand business partners have plans to renovate andreposition the property at 1511 Westminster St. and have renamed it Phalen VillageApartments.

The units will be managed by St.Paul-based Meridian Management Inc., which is owned byDoug Simek. The Simeks own 370 apartments, mostlyin St. Paul, and plan to add more.
