Other current projects at Haines include a 630,000-sf W/D complex for BJs Warehouse, and a more than 500,000-sf building Whitesell is doing for National Distribution Centers. Both started out as spec projects, but were quickly snapped up in this tight industrial market.
"The demand for space has been solid, and it's moving southward," says Richards. "Exit 7A has been getting the headlines, but now demand has moved to 6A, as these projects clearly indicate."
