The branch, set to open Nov. 14 in 2,800 sf in the 1001 Broadway Building, brings the banks' total number Puget Sound locations to eight. Other area locations include Woodinville, Bellevue, Renton, Kirkland, Everett, Bothell and Redmond. Two weeks ago, Banner Corp. announced plans to change its name from First Washington Bancorp and consolidate the names of its 38 bank outlets – which included Towne Bank, Whatcom State Bank, Seaport Citizens Bank, First Savings Bank of Washington.
