Lichter Venture Group, with Robert Lichter as managing partner, developed the project, which includes retail, office, restaurants and aservice station/convenience store on 5.5 acres.

The center features a 6,000-sf food court and has flexible floor to accommodate users from 500 to 5,000 sf, including three free-standing outpad buildings.

Marketing of the project, called Island@carlsbad, is being handled by Kirk Allison and Vic Gausepohl in the Carlsbad office of Colliers International. Leases in excess of 30,000 sf, valued at more than $6million, have recently been signed with a variety of retail and small office tenants.

Roel Construction Co. is the general contractor.
