ArtSpace Projects Tickets Houston for Latest Artists-in-Residence Project

GALVESTON, TX-ArtSpace Projects, a nationally recognized artists nonprofit, is making plans to convert a five-story building into 28 artists lofts. The $3-million project is being financed from grants and is tentatively slated for completion in February.

Twenty-eight lofts will be crafted from the 50,000-sf building, situated at the corner of 23rd S. and Market. Tramonte Realty is managing the project, which calls for a street-level sandwich shop. The $3-million development, which is being financed from grants, is ticketed for a February completion.

ArtSpace Projects is a developer of artist dwellings nationwide. Artists-in-residence are selected from portfolio evaluations by the organization.
