The Seaman's store is replacing a demolished freestanding auto parts retailer. It is the first new construction on the site since Starwood Heller took it over.
The 90,000-sf former Rickles store on the property has already been converted to multi-tenant use. Bob's Stores and Bed, Bath & Beyond currently occupy most of the building, although 12,300 sf remains available. The Seaman's store is expected to open to the public next spring.
