The 37.5-acre property is on Freedom Drive at Tuckaseegee andAshley Roads. Target had been occupying 90,000 sf, which has nowbeen renovated. Electronic Data Systems, an information technologycompany, had been using 28,000 sf of supermarket space as a callcenter until it closed.

According to broker Arthur Neudek, an unidentified office tenantwill be taking 10,000 sf in the space vacated by Sears. Neudek saysthe retail market is strong, but the site is unable to attract abig-box retailer.
