The keynote address will be delivered by Timothy H. Callahan, president and CEO of Equity Office Properties Trust, the Chicago-based REIT that is the nation's biggest office building owner.
Other featured speakers include: K. Dane Brooksher, chairman and CEO of Denver-based distribution-facility giant ProLogis; Rick Campo, chairman and CEO of Houston-based apartment REIT Camden Property Trust; and Glen L. Carpenter, chairman and CEO of Newport Beach-based REIT Pacific Gulf Properties Inc.
Two other top real estate executives will round out the list of featured speakers. The first is Victor Coleman, president of LA-based Arden Realty Inc., one of California's biggest office landlords. The other is David J. Contis, EVP and COO of Santa Monica-based shopping center powerhouse Macerich Co.
The annual outlook conference, organized by Beverly Hills-based Real Estate Conference Group, has gained a reputation as one of the best and most well-attended forecast conferences in the nation. Its sponsors include Real Estate Media Inc.'s national Real Estate Forum; its LA-based sister magazine, Real Estate Southern California; and GlobeSt.com, the nation's largest Internet commercial real estate news service.
Registration for the conference is $250 before Jan. 5, or $285 after that date. The fee includes a continental breakfast, lunch, refreshments, program materials and a networking reception at the end the day.
