AvidXchange Adds Wireless to Aid Bidders

CHARLOTTE-The locally-based e-marketplace for commercial real estate operations says the new feature will make life easier for property owners and their service contractors to vie for online-posted jobs while away from their offices.

"Without access to computers, participation in on-line competitive bidding for service contracts has been impossible until now," says AvidXchange CEO Mike Praeger in a prepared statement. The wireless component can be accessed in the AvidXchange program through the Nextel, Sprint and Verizon Wireless networks. AvidXchange uses Clarus Corp.'s ClarusAuctions software for its programs.
