The firm designed the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and special crypt-ventilation system for the new 100,000-sf structure, which will house 7,000 crypts. The building is one of the first fully air-conditioned mausoleums using a desiccant dehumidification system.
The award was presented at the recent New York State Association of Consulting Engineers Awards dinner held in New York City, according to O'Dea & Associates officials.
