The firm designed the heating, ventilation, air conditioning,electrical, plumbing, fire protection and special crypt-ventilationsystem for the new 100,000-sf structure, which will house 7,000crypts. The building is one of the first fully air-conditionedmausoleums using a desiccant dehumidification system.

The award was presented at the recent New York State Associationof Consulting Engineers Awards dinner held in New York City,according to O'Dea & Associates officials.
