The retail center is at the southwest corner of University Driveand Commercial Boulevard in Broward County, 35 miles north ofDowntown Miami. The Rotella Toroyan Clinton Group of FortLauderdale handled the buyout, as well as a second buyouttransaction for Shells Casual Seafood Restaurants in Jacksonville,FL.
Shells purchased a 10-year lease with an inception value of$443,000 and a total value of $652,560 from Cenpo Ltd. ofJacksonville. The lease began in June 1996. The 5,438 sf is atMerchant's Walk, a 53,246-sf strip center on San JoseBoulevard.
