SubTropolis Signs Major New Tenant

KANSAS CITY, NORTH, MO-Michlein Aircraft Tire Corp. has leased 88,800 sf in Hunt Midwest's enormous underground warehouse cavern to store tires. Subtropolis is the world's largest underground business complex.

Michelin Aircraft Tire Corp., headquartered in Greenville, SC, supplies aircraft tires worldwide. David Zimmer, with the the Zimmer Cos., represented Michelin. Tim Basler, with Hunt Midwest Real Estate Development, handled the transaction for the landlord.

SubTropolis is the world's largest underground business complex, with 4.3 million square feet of space and nearly 3,000 acres of surface commercial, industrial and residential property.
