Codina Group Selects President for New Park

CORAL GABLES, FL-Jorge B. San Miguel of Key Biscayne will head development of the planned one million-sf Beacon CyberPort at the former Miami Free Zone site near Miami International Airport.

When completed, the project will house warehouse, showroom and office space. Currently, 750,000 sf are under renovation at NW 107th Ave. and NW 25th St. in west Miami-Dade County. The new construction is designed to withstand extreme hurricane-force wind loads.

Prior to joining Codina Group, San Miguel participated in more than $3 billion of Ernst & Young merger and acquistion transactions, primarily in telecommunications and real estate. He is a CPA with a degree in accounting and finance from Fordham University.
