Spectra Merchandising International Inc. develops and markets a range of consumer electronics products. The firm, established in 1969, sources electronics products from the Far East. Its new facility will house marketing, administration, warehousing for domestic distribution, returned goods processing and product service functions currently located at Spectra's facility at 3425 North Kimball in Chicago.
Chicago IndustryTech Park represents an effort by the State of Illinois, the City of Chicago and the Alter Group to develop a suburban-style business park to provide jobs and growth opportunities for Chicago's industrial base. Chicago IndustryTech Park is expected to accommodate approximately 580,000 sf of state-of-the-art industrial facilities when completed.
