Griffin said that the process of studying whether a sale of the property is the best course of action has just begun. "While there is a strong chance that it will happen, no final decision (on a sale) has been made," he notes.
He says that the building is fully leased and is occupied by such firms as Fidelity Investment, FleetBoston and State Street Bank. Griffin adds that the brokerage firm has not held any discussions with any prospective buyers to date and that no such meetings were likely until a decision is made on whether to put the property on the market.
