Fridlington will oversee the day-to-day operations of the association, which represents 15,5000 residential and commercial brokers statewide in 16 local realtor associations.

A certified association executive who holds a law degree from the University of Notre Dame, Fridlington held five positions with the California Association of Realtors since 1978. Most recently, he served as vice president of the CAR executive department from 1998 to 2000, where he was responsible for managing key leadership groups and directing program outreach and services to 123 local realtor associations. In his 22 years with the organization, Fridlington served 10 years in its Legal Department, including five years as senior legal counsel, and was a vice president of local association services for nearly three years.
