Kansas City Port Authority OKs Sale of Riverboat

KANSAS CITY, MO - The deal would include a the sale of a St. Louis riverboat as well. Approval is now needed by Missouri Gaming Commission.

The sale comes after Missouri Gaming Commissioners voted in August to revoke Station Casino's Missouri licenses after company officials refused to testify under oath in an inquiry that surrounded Station lawyer Michael Lazaroff. If approved next week, by the Missouri Gaming Commission, Ameristar will take over operations Dec. 20.
