Kampco Foods LLC will develop 15 franchise Johnny Carino's inOklahoma and Kansas and Montagna Group will launch five in Montana.Kampco's first location will be in Oklahoma City and Montagna's inits home base of Bozeman, MT.
The pacts are part of an aggressive rollout calling for 128 newJohnny Carino's restaurants in 10 states and the Middle East in thenext five to seven years. This week, a new Johnny Carino's hasopened in Beaumont, TX and another in Greeley, CO. In four days, afranchise Johnny Carino's will be up and running in Midland,TX.
The Austin-based company operates and franchises 32 eateries. Inaddition to Johnny Carino's Country Italian, the other lineups areKona Ranch Steakhouse, Gumbo's Louisiana Style Cafe and The BrownBar. Fired Up, founded in Austin in 1997, has restaurants in Texas,Arkansas, Idaho, Oklahoma, Colorado and Kuwait.
