Airport Business Park Adding More Wings

CHARLOTTE-The Illinois owners are building a 112,000-sf addition to an existing 80,000-sf structure that will be completed in April. A 220,000-sf second expansion will follow, depending on pre-leasing activity.

The estimated hard construction cost of the total 432,000 sf of planned new space is $32 million. The 112,000-sf addition is an expansion of an existing 80,000-sf building. Plans call for completion by April.

Construction is expected to begin on the two-building, 220,000-sf expansion once the 112,000-sf addition is sufficiently pre-leased. International Airport Center also operates in Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles and Seattle.
