Elevator Products Corp. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Morristown, NJ-based Schindler Elevator Co., which itself is the North American operating entity of the Swiss-based Schindler Group. Schindler Elevator employs over 6,000 people at some 245 locations.
Tom Kirczow and Zack Levy of Grubb & Ellis, Fairfield, NJ, structured the long-term lease on behalf of the tenant. The building owner was represented in-house by John Muscarelle. According to Elevator Products Corp. officials, the Wayne site won out over several other North Jersey locations because of its accessibility and adaptability for their operations.
