Investors Spot Office Niche and Plan to Fill It With Five-Building, 82,000-SF Complex

HICKORY, NC-Hickory Metro Partners Inc. is putting up a $7-million structure here on Lenoir-Rhyne Boulevard, just off Interstate 40 and about 50 miles northwest of Downtown Charlotte.

Construction of the first 14,500-sf building is scheduled to begin in February. The site is just off Interstate 40 and about 50 miles northwest of Downtown Charlotte. Metro Properties, a group of local investors headed by Steven Boyd, is based at the site. The historic Moser home, which houses Boyd's office, will be moved as part of the project and will be used for offices.
