The developers are Doug Levin and Dave Ransenberg. The development, which requires a rezoning by Charlotte City Council from an industrial designation to an urban residential use, is expected to be built in three phases. The retail and office space is likely to attract more of the art galleries and studios that are located in many of the storefronts along artsy North Davidson Street. The vacant, wooded property is owned by E.C. Griffith Co. and Clara Elliott of Waxhaw and is valued at $241,900, according to property tax records.
