Pacific Yurts Doubles Capacity to Meet Demand

COTTAGE GROVE, OR-Locally-based Pacific Yurts’ 23rd year in business stands to be its best, and owner Alan Bair is expanding his facilities to accommodate. Bair recently finished adding a 10,000-sf to its 8,000-sf factory of Highway 99, and is now busy moving into the new space. Bair, who owns and land and the buildings, took out a bank loan for the expansion.

“Growing demand has indicated that it was the right time to step up to the plate to provide the kind of volume our commercial and government clients need,” says Bair, whose company is the largest manufacturer of modern yurts in the world. “A number of our clients are looking into buying 25 and 50 units at a time.”
