The company's site search was led by Martin Kreiman, senior vice president of Weichert Commercial, Morris Plains, NJ. Altogether, Weichert relocated 10 companies out of Brooklyn last year, most of them to New Jersey.
"Buildings in Brooklyn and New York City can't offer the extra land available in New Jersey," according to Kreiman. Besides the extra land, the buyer opted for the property "because of its high ceilings, multiple loading and trailer parking."
National Paper's new headqaurters used to be occupied by Heritage Inc. and was owned by Sun Chemical. Fuerst & Fuerst Realty represented the seller in the transaction.
