Quality Electric Lands Four Major Jobs

DENVER-If you want to know what is being built in a market, track the jobs that subcontractors are landing. Electrical contractor Quality Electric Inc. recently has reeled in four big ones.

The first is Worldport at Denver International Airport. This is a multi-million-dollar construction project in which Quality Electric will team with Bovis Lend Lease to construct several multi-use warehouses at DIA. Quality Electric will provide design build services for eight single-story buildings totaling about 90,000 sf. The facilities will eventually make use of the equivalent of eight city blocks for aircraft, tenant improvements and warehouses.

The second is the 275,000-sf office campus for Invesco Funds, the second-largest family of mutual funds based in Denver after Janus. This project will consist of one six-story and one four-story office buildings, with a three-level parking garage. Quality Electric will provide design build services for the project contractor Swinerton Walbert/USAA. Each building will be backed by its own uninterruptible power supply.
