MortgageRamp Shakes Hands With VerticalNet Solutions

SAN FRANCISCO-VerticalNet is no longer just an investors in Davidson, NC-based MortgageRamp. The online commercial real estate finance company is calling on the locally based company to provide it with a host of software tools to enhance its Web site and build additional products for its Web site.

Mortgage Ramp is taking VerticalNet’s Solutions suite of community, content and market design tools, which include multiple market mechanisms and transaction types, multi-party system interaction and a broad range of buy- and sell-side services.

Mortgage Ramp’s executive managing director Ned Finkenstaedt says the package of analytical tools, research, material, industry news and educational resources will enable MortgageRamp to reduce the time between loan origination, closing and securitization without sacrificing diligence or discipline. “VerticalNet is a proven player in the technology market,” says Finkenstaedt. “It is an excellent match for us.”
