Brooks Brothers on Country Club Plaza Relocating During Remodeling

KANSAS CITY-A renovated store will reopen at 424 Nichols Road with BCBG Max Azria as co-tenant. The remodeling will give the Country Club Plaza store a look similar to the Brooks Brothers' on Fifth Avenue in New York and Post Street in San Francisco.

KANSAS CITY- Brooks Brothers on the Country Club Plaza is relocating down the street to 500 Nichols Road while its store is being remodeled. Plans call for the men’s and women’s clothing store to move back to its space at 424 Nichols Road in mid-April when renovations are complete.

The company has signed a 20-year lease for space it has occupied since 1980. Interior renovations will include cherry floors, accented with marble inlays and the use of more natural light. Outside, the store will have a limestone and stainless stell facade. The remodeling will be based on the company’s stores on Fifth Avenue in New York and Post Street in San Francisco.
