The move by Phogenix Imaging LLC will accommodate plans to add 50 to 60 new employees by year end. Newly VP/CFO Mahmoud E. Mostafa will lead daily manufacturing, supply chain and global expansion operations as the company prepares to bring its first products to market.
Phogenix Imaging's new 65,000-sf headquarters is located at 16275 Technology Dr. in Rancho Bernardo. Half of the new space will be used for on-site manufacturing and development and the other half for office space.
"Mostafa's extensive manufacturing and R&D experience are the perfect addition to our strong leadership team," says Fred Heigold, CEO of Phogenix Imaging. "As we move towards our global product launch, the team will rely on his management expertise and strong international perspective."
Phogenix Imaging, a joint venture of Eastman Kodak Co. and Hewlett-Packard Co., was formed in April of last year.
