Talanian Realty Builds Office Building

BOSTON-As further indication of a recent trend to develop office buildings west of Downtown, Talanian Realty is developing an office building in the Beacon Hill neighborhood here. The five-story building will total 20,000 sf of space.

BOSTON-C. Talanian Realty is developing a five-story office building in the Beacon Hill neighborhood here. The building, which will total 20,000 sf of space, is right near Massachusetts General Hospital and an MBTA station.

Don Megathlin, vice president of development for Talanian did not return calls by press time, but he reportedly said that the building would be designed to serve the medical community and the biotech community. The area’s proximity to Downtown opens up the possibility of using it as professional space as well. The building, which is unusual for this area, is part of a recent trend of office buildings being developed west of the Downtown area.
