The Movado deal boosts the nearly 350,000-sf Mack-Cali Centre II to the 88% leased mark. It's also part of a package of 10 leases with a half-dozen companies that the Cranford, NJ-based Mack-Cali has signed since the first of the year. The new leases total some 257,000 sf of space.
"We feel we're well-positioned to accommodate the space needs of a variety of companies," according to Mack-Cali CEO Mitch Hersh. "These leases indicate that our Northeast portfolio allows us to serve the needs of our tenants."
Among the other leases signed in the recent push, Faulding Pharmaceuticals also moved its headquarters to Mack-Cali Centre II in Paramus. In the move from another Mack-Cali property, 11 Commerce Dr. in Cranford, Faulding bumped its space up from just under 7,400 sf to more than 21,500 sf.
Also, Regus Business Centres is opening two office suite/business center facilities--nearly 41,000 sf at Westlakes Office Park in Berwyn, PA and just under 39,000 sf at 100 Overlook Center in Princeton, NJ. The company provides on-demand business space for small space users.
And Reveo Inc., a frontier R&D company, has signed for nearly 48,000 sf at Three Westchester Plaza in Elmsford, NY. Evonyx Inc., an energy technology company, has signed two separate leases for a total of just over 32,600 sf at Mack-Cali's Mid-Westchester Executive Park in Hawthorne, NY. Reveo will use both locations for its R&D activities.
Finally, Rock-Tenn Converting Co., which makes and converts paperboard, has taken 18,000 sf for seven years at One Center Court at Commercenter Business Park, Totowa, NJ. The company will use the space for general office and distribution facilities.
