Land Buy Clears Way for Spec Project

IRWINDALE, CA-McMahon Development Group pays $4.2 million for 15-acre parcel in Irwindale, where the firm plans to build 290,000 sf of industrial space.

The land is at the intersection of Bateman Avenue and Buena Vista. The buyer is Solana Beach-based McMahon Development Group.

McMahon plans to begin its nine-building spec project next month. Completion is expected in August.

Jim Center and Bob Moffatt of Grubb & Ellis' San Gabriel Valley office represented the seller, a Portland, OR-based group known as Wilshire Real Estate Partnership LP. Mitch Ashwill of Ashwill & Associates represented McMahon Development.
