Modory, with Champion since 1993, had been instrumental in the formation and management of the firm's commercial mortgage origination and securitization program. Prior to Champion, he had been employed as the fund manager for Trammell Crow Realty Advisors of Dallas.
Wheeler had joined Champion in 1998, assuming responsibility for coordinating and managing capital relationships and financial reporting. She previously had been the vice president-controller for Intershop Real Estate Services and a one-time fiscal analyst for Fults Management Co.
