The deal brings the property to 95% occupancy, according to David Friedman, northeast regional vice president for the Louis Dreyfus Property Group. The only remaining available space in the building is a 22,000-sf block on the third floor.
"We are extremely pleased with the pace of leasing activity at Twenty Westport Road," Friedman says. "The combination of world-class architecture, corporate-style amenities and a scenic and convenient location has made Twenty Westport Road one of the most successful new office buildings in Fairfield County. We are attracting an impressive roster of companies in marketing, high technology and financial services."
Other tenants that have signed on at Twenty Westport Road are: News America Marketing, which will relocate from offices in Norwalk, PanAmSat Corp., which will be moving from Greenwich and John W. Henry & Co., which will be moving from space it currently occupies here. The building is scheduled to be completed by July.
