MetLife will continue occupying its current facilities in the city but is searching for new locations to house the employees who will be displaced by this transaction. CSFB will begin moving in this March and occupy the balance of the space by October 2003.

CSFB now leases at MetLife's 11 Madison Ave. next door and recently took space at 315 Park Ave. Commenting on the deal, Allen D. Wheat, CFSB's CEO, noted that, together with its other holdings in the neighborhood, the firm now has what amounts to a corporate campus.

CSFB Realty dealt for its parent, Insignia ESG advised MetLife.
