Deuce Vision Assembling Property for Mixed-Use Project; Sees 500-700 Apartments

TACOMA, WA-Deuce Vision LLC is moving closer to its goal of a major mixed-use development on Tacoma Avenue. Over the past 12 months, the joint venture that includes various Seattle individuals has been assembling a four-acre parcel for the project, which would include 500 to 700 apartment units, retail and office space. The size of the site qualifies it as a master planned community, which comes with more builder-friendly permitting rules than smaller developments.

Eric Cederstrand and Cameron Fletcher of the Tacoma office of Colliers International have been representing Deuce Vision in their acquisitions. The brokers tell GlobeSt.com that Deuce Vision has laid down more than $3.4 million for 11 parcels that total 167,400 sf. The majority of the property came in one acquisition, and the rest have been small parcels surrounding the primary lot. The site stretches from the top of a hill on Tacoma Avenue, down 15th to Fawcett Avenue.
