The tenant is United Stationers Supply Co., an operating company of Des Plaines, IL-based United Stationers Inc. The parent firm is one of the nation's largest wholesalers of office supplies and equipment.

The building stands at 21508 Ferrero Parkway, inside the Grand Avenue Distribution Center. United Stationers will use the space for warehouse and distribution purposes after relocating from a nearby complex in March.

When combined with a 280,000-sf building it already owns, the new lease will boost United Stationers presence in City of Industry to nearly 500,000 sf.

Jim Center, SVP with Grubb & Ellis' San Gabriel Valley office, represented the tenant in the transaction. Vonda Reeves, Kent Stalwick and Darla Longo of CB Richard Ellis represented the landlord, Grand Avenue Venture LLC.

Grand Avenue Venture is a partnership of Wohl Property Group of San Juan Capistrano and Prudential Insurance Co. The property is managed by Experian Property Solutions of Brea.
