110-Year-Old Appliance Retailer Opens First Austin Store

AUSTIN-Conn's Appliances has its eyes on the Austin market, opening just the first of several retail sites. The first location is 26,650 sf at Southbrook Town Center. Conn's is ranked as one of the nation's leading regional appliance retailers.

More stores are planned for Austin, says an insider at The Weitzman Group. Lance Morris and David Simmonds with the Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group have handled the negotiations with building owner NEC Cannon/35 Ltd.

The Southbrook store is located at 6501 S. Interstate 35 at William Cannon Drive. Conn's Appliances is ranked as one of the nation's leading regional appliance and consumer electronics retailers. It currently operates 30 retail stores in Texas and Louisiana.
