Marketing Firm Consolidates New Acquisitions into 17,600 SF of Space

STAMFORD, CT-Valassis Communications, which recently acquired two area marketing companies, has signed a lease for 17,600 sf at 6 Armstrong Park. The Livonia, MI-based company signed the lease in order to consolidate the respective marketing companies’ operations, now known as Valassis Relationship Marketing Systems, at one location, according to officials with Grubb & Ellis. The Stamford-based brokerage firm represented Valassis in the lease transaction, which was valued at $3 million.

Tom Weinstock and Robert Gold of Grubb & Ellis, who negotiated the deal, say the company will locate 50 employees at the Armstrong Park location. Weinstock said Valassis recently acquired Retail Marketing Systems of Shelton and Retail Management Services of Wilton.
