Shinsei Bank Signs for 14,000 SF in the Citibank Building

NEW YORK CITY-The sublease for a portion of the 27th floor went for $100 per sf. The former tenant, a law firm, is consolidating its New York offices at Park Avenue Tower on 55th St.

The space had been occupied for ten years by Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, an international law firm, that is moving its offices into space at Park Avenue Tower, a 36-story building at 65 E. 55th St.

Frank Doyle and Phil Deguire of Jones Lang LaSalle, the building's managing and leasing agent, negotiated for Paul Hastings. The property is owned by Citibank NA and Dai-Ichi Life Investment Properties. Bob Emden and Elliot Klein of Grubb & Ellis dealt for Shinsei.
