Best Western will put the system in 125 hotels beginning March 1 and will consider expanding the ePortcard into more of its 4,100 properties, according to a Thinkologies news release. EPortcard enables hotel guests to contact senior management in real time, using telephone interactive voice response or the Internet from a kiosk centrally located in the hotel.
Two metro area hotel companies have also signed on for the system. They are Buckhead America Corp., which owns, operates or franchises Country Hearth Inns and other national hotel brands; and Chateau Elan Winery & Resort in Braselton, GA, about 40 miles north of Downtown.
