The structure will deliver in July, with move-in reportedly taking place in August and September. The lease expansion, though inked in late December, has been kept under wraps as crews feverishly work on the tenant's new distribution center. S.C. Johnson has occupied a 192,000-sf building in the 9,600-acre Alliance park since 1997. The supplier now employs 35, with more undoubtedly on the way when the building delivers.
Brokers are ranking the deal as one the top five in Dallas-Ft. Worth for year 2000. The build-to-suit is located on a 21-acre parcel directly across the street from S.C. Johnson's existing facility.
